"They nerfed her carry role when they nerfed her passive.
I mained her before. There's actually a net loss of about 20 damage on rank 1 Q unless you buy an Ability Tome first.

"Kayle is not a support champion. she has two support spells, one on a 30 second CD (with 40% CDR) and the other is -really- weak.
She isn't naturally tanky.
She doesn't have good support based spells.
She is mana starved without Nashor's or a HEFTY amount of mana.
