"Trundle Jungle as a Darius counter-pick seems pretty good yeah.
There are definitely better champions out there to counter him but Trundle can be playable for the early skirmishes.
For runes I would run: Lethal Tempo - Triumph - Legend: Alacrity - Cut Down | Magical Footwear - Cosmic Insight.

Ghost received many nerfs and isn't as good as it used to be. It doesn't last long enough and the ramp-up speed is mediocre.
TP, especially in higher elos, is the most broken summoner spell in the game.

yes, spirits 3rd if they have heavy AP - FON is also fine, really great into gragas/morde but spirits should be the default MR item
Take overgrowth every time.
