"Little late to the party here so I'm not reading multiple pages of posts and arguments.
The Crystal Scar is not Summoner's Rift. In order to be a successful summoner here you need to realize this and adjust your gameplay as such.

"I'm trying to teach my bother to be better with this game but he is so closed to my advice that he wont listen to me. He can't explain why he is using scaling mana regen yellows and quints, defaulting to a "I do just fine with them"
