"I main mid with Katarina as my first choice. In Solo Q she is actually a lot stronger than people give her credit for. She has high burst when maxing her W first and can gank effectively from any angle. She is susceptible to harass and CC but if you can get around that the.

"Again. It really what I asked. I am smart enough to check my opponents masteries and runes by checking their stats when I click on them in game. Whenever I see a blue "30" next to their MR stat I tend totals it as a signal for me to pour it on thick. So that they can't counter burst me "

I asked that how come a strat (in this case a level 3 Q>E>W burst as Kat onto a Diana) works well once, but will backfire the next time despite similar rune and mastery sets. "
