So yesterday I started to use Smartcast and it's really awesome you can react so much faster - even though you will most likely be a lil bit confused for the first games because you still want to click your skills :/
The thing is up to now I never used them and I think this will benefit me after some time greatly it makes many things much easier and better.
I know I am a noob for not using it before :/
I'm lvl 30 about 550w and because I am not that new to the game and haven't used them before, so I wanted to share that information with you. So maybe some of you will start to use smartcast!
You can activate smartcasting ingame --> options --> keybindings
scroll down and there you can activate it!
Skill 1 - q
Skill 2 - w
Skill 3 - e
Skill 4 - r
You don't have to use all so if you feel uncomfortable with a skill you can still use it on the old way!

- instant spamming your skills by just rolling your head over the keyboard, no need to click with your mouse :) makes it really awesome for champs like
Lux that have to fire their shots one after another! - you can get way more cs with champs like Ezreal
- your reaction time is just better

na never said that played dota on high-lvl-league without dualcasting **** and stuff ;)
and @luther: ahhh.. I use smartcast+selfcast that's why the shield goes on me if I miss ^^

yeah I did so as well and I did good, but I still think you just can't react as fast without smartcast ;) well, if it just confuses you and you make mistakes of course - after some time you shouldn't have any problems with it tho
I have no problems smart casting, i just find regular spell casting more enjoyable.
Smart casting was 1 of the first "advanced" things i learned.
And for people who just want to see how works smartcast - default setting is Shift+spellkey. Just saying it for the ones which didn't know :)
I've tried it few times(mainly on Annie and Lee Sin) and I think it's usefuj, but I'm too used to "classic" system. Guess I need lots of practice...
Do you guys use smartcasting by holding down Shift while clicking the spell, or do you change the keybindings?
Changed the binding to QWER. Not on all skills though, and generally not for ults.

Shift+spellkey is default setting for smartcast, it's good for people who want only to try it. Just saying it for the ones which didn't know :)
