"I think archangel's is more viable than rod of ages, it gives way more AP and you have plenty of survivability from banshees. Not a bad guide, nothing new in terms of malzahar, i've been using this build (or close to it) since rabadons came out. but yeah good for new / intermediate malz players i gu"

"Pretty solid guide, IMO you're better off grabbing mana/5 seals and getting avarice instead of that first zeal, then a b.f. sword, then phantom. +1"
