I know that both Molten shield and Defensive ball curl both will return health. I'm not sure if it's because they return flat damage or not though."

"For more clarification, GP, MF and Ezreal's Q will all go off of lifesteal as they are technically auto attacks. Same with any "next attack" skills like Nasus Q.
Any attack that generates magic damage like Teemo E passive or the stacking debuff from MF W, will not heal from anything."
