"Brutalizer seems good on him. Giving CDR and AD building into a very decent item for him. You don't want to be building too tanky. Something like just Thornmail and maybe throwing in an Atma's impaler since you'r building so many health items and it works nicely with your ult."

Tanks are all about telling your team "I'm going in now" or "when I do X, you guys do Y".
Of course, if you don't tank right, your team will blame the loss on you and not the carry who goes in 1v5..."
