His passive sucks, but you should get some mana anyway. Don't focus on it.
Just be a bruiser. I had some success building iceborn gauntlet, wit's end, sunfire cape and more tanky stuff. I don't recall what other damage item I had on him,"

"twitch mid is insane, especially when team has an AP (or 2) source of damage and a decent initiate and peel.
Early game struggles are non-sense when you have envenom, a slow and an AS steroid. Mid game force, late game powerhouse.
