"Killing minions doesn't (usually) make any difference to the experience you get, everyone within 1600 range splits exp equally. In that situation Jinx gets 50% and Morde gets 50% (the skill description says it only works if he kills it)."

"If you want to go full damage I'd get blade of the ruined king last because double lifesteal is great and it helps with killing tanks and self-peel/1v1s.
