"You don't even need mercs, Tabi are an equally good choice if you're against an AD lane and there's not too much CC.
The thing that makes Randuin's so good is this:
Unique: 20% chance on being hit by an auto attack to slow the attacker's movement and attack speed by 35% for 3 seconds.

"I don't think it's really necessary on Phoenix Udyr either, since he clears so fast already from R procs. I find just straight up getting Wit's End improves his ganks and clear times a lot more than Wriggle's does."
