"I can't change that but if you get an actual client such as mIRC, or possibly the Firefox plugin, then the client will have the option to hide join/quit messages. I know mIRC does."

"IRC will be up ya :) That's run by QuakeNet not us. I will be in there while working so if you guys want status updates you can always pop in. Although right now there is a major netsplit going on. Hopefully they'll have it fixed."
