"I think the math was that it takes 38-44 auto attacks with 3 lifesteal quints and a Doran's Blade to match the sustain that two Health Potions could provide, hence why people stopped starting Long Sword/Health Potionx2. 60 auto's would be on the high side even for a champion like Tristana."

"You want to increase karthus's mana pool not increase his mana regen. During sustained fights you want to be able to keep your Defile on and spam Lay Waste. Chalice of Harmony/Athene's Unholy Grail can't keep up with the mana drain, hence why you increase your mana pool with item"

"You really shouldn't take gold quints on a champion like Leona. It's not bad to, but I personally think taking flat health is better. You could possibly take 1 gold and 2 flat hp quints, but you're an all in champion as leona. My current page for Leona is
