Views: 1229 A Nice Blog to introduce myself properly to the masses
|
Greetings and Salutations everyone and thank you for taking time out to read this blog :)
Now I have noticed alot of people have a bad impression of me here and I guess I am to blame for that because I can be quite hot headed alot of times but believe me when I do say that even though I am to blame for giving myself a bad reputation, that bad reputation is nowhere near the kind of person I really am in real life and hopefully with this I will be able to at least move that needle away from "Jerk" and close to the "Nice Guy" area that I am.
First of all lets get rid of the basic stuff because we all know thats boring but essential to a blog...Ok My real name is Lee (Yes I have said my real name in a forum - Shock Horror), I am currently 30 years old when I write this blog although if you saw me in real life you would seriously doubt that age I do look a whole lot younger, I am from England in the South East region of the country (Not going to tell you where just yet) and yes, I am in fact a guy, a man, a dude, a boy, a male, that which has the hose pipe etc etc you get the picture.
Ok lets talk about why I am a part of League of Legends, I probably didn't start out as early as some of you in fact it was just over 1 year to this day that I actually joined the game because I saw a few good friends playing it and thought I would give it a try and I really did enjoy it but I did also have a few issues when playing mainly my temper because I would see my friends doing stuff so smoothly, effortlessly and when I tried to do it...well I failed miserably and I would get so frustrated and angry because I wanted to be able to do what they could do and I was so narrow minded I didn't think at the time that they had been playing for a long time (I mean a LONG time some where in the Beta for Season 1) and they had practiced and perfected their skills and the more I got angry at myself the more I got angry at others and for a while I lost alot of those friends because of my attitude.
I was so foolish I actually thought the best way to improve as a player was to buy EVERY SINGLE CHAMPION that was available and in a way I knew after a while that owning all the champions was not going to make me a better player as a whole but by then I was only 20 champions away for owning them all that I ended up buying them all anyways because I knew I would be frustrated at having an Imperfect collection when I was that close to it if that makes sense and I suppose it all worked out because ARAM came along shortly afterwards and it made it alot more interesting having all the champions to be randomised lol.
And my spending hasn't really improved, although nowadays I do it for fun if you have seen my previous blog about my Skin Collection you will notice I am pretty much a big spender in the game but as I said it's all for fun and I actually just like those skins :).
Of course, luckily I started to calm down mentally and started to focus on my practicing, my game play and my teamwork and thankfully alot of the friends that I had alienated before were more than happy to play with me again because they could see I was finally putting the effort into learning and not trying to impress them too much by trying to copy them...I was playing as my own player, my own style and that had started me on becoming a better player.
Now that I have reached 1 year of playing I can now say I have improved alot since those awful fist days, I have managed to learn more roles especially Jungling which I absolutely love because of Vi who is still in my books at least one of the best in the game, I also love ADC because of all the shoots and pow pow pow that you can do and Although I am not very good at them I do like to Mid or Top lane at times too :3
I still have alot of issues when I do play the game, My map awareness is lackluster and I am still novice when it comes to warding maps which is made worse by the fact my main role in the game 80% of the time is actually as a support (And yes I do like that role), the rest of the game aspects I am pretty good at, Not pro level or High tier level, but good enough that I know if I keep practicing one day I will be good enough to be High Tier...it is just a matter of patience and not rushing even when I know the goal is in sight.
More about myself - Lets see now, Well I guess I should talk about one aspect that people know me for and one of the biggest reasons I have probably made an *** of myself with and that is the fact that yes, I do indeed have Autism and Aspergers - I was diagnosed at 21 years old so only 9 years ago which was annoying for me because in truth I should have been diagnosed at 10 when I was in school but the doctors then couldn't decide if I really had it or not and choose the latter instead of more test but at the same time I am sort of glad of that because I feel I was able to learn more at school instead of being put in "Special Needs" classes...Do not get me wrong I have no real issue with those classes and I am sure so of you either knew someone did go or you went to them yourself however at my school at least the teachers where not that bothered with teaching those in special needs and usually it was like
Teacher: "Whats 1+1?"
Student: Umm...3?
Teacher: *Sigh*... M'eh close enough
And also because I wasn't diagnosed earlier it meant I grew up trying to fit in and learning to cope with it without even realizing I had it... What I mean is that I actually have high form of autism but if you spoke to me in real life you would barely notice it because I learnt to live with it, I managed to do things on my own that normal autistic people would be struggling to do and I am really proud that I have managed to do so well in my life.
More about me? Ok! well when I am not playing League of Legends I am usually watching a good anime or playing other video games because in all seriousness I am a right Geek lol I love electronics, I love Animations, If theres a game I like out I will have brought it in pre order with the limited edition box etc you get the picture.
When it comes to Anime I am not a purist, I do like Dubbed and well as Subbed (I can see the pitchfork coming out but put them away) but I am not saying Dubbed is better however I am not a fast or keen reader and in alot of anime you can have conversations so fast that you are having to pause and rewind to read what is being said just in case you miss something of great importance so in those kind of Anime then yes I believe Dubbed is better however in more action based anime then of course Subbed is perfectly fine :3.
I have been an Anime fan for 17 years now, I first got into it when I was at a friend of my mums house and her son just so happened to have a copy of an anime called 'Urotsukidoji' (if you just went Oh dear...I know you seen it too) which I will be honest was probably not the best anime to actually get into anime with mainly due to the fact it is basically a hentai (for those who don't know what Hentai is...lets keep it like that because your minds are still pure) but in all seriousness I didn't like it because of the Hentai, in a strange way it was the fact that as a 12 -13 year old I was growing up and those all those "childish" joys like Cartoons etc where soon to be a thing of the past and I was a little bit sad so when something came along and was like "You can still enjoy cartoon my friend, but they will mature with you and become ANIME that you can enjoy into your adult life"...That to me was like being the kid locked in the candy shop.
As I have grown Anime has stayed a part of my life and I have even gone to conventions in cosplay when I have afforded it and even this year I am planning to go in cosplay wearing a dress for one of my all time favorite characters from the anime, Soul Eater, His name is Crona and if you seen the anime he is alot like me (minus the creature crawling out his back lol) but for those who don't know him here is a quick picture of him under this paragraph - I am really looking forward to doing this cosplay.
When it comes to gaming I do love my RPGs especially the classics like Final Fantasy (I doubt any RPG fan hates Final Fantasy) and even the titles you may or may not have heard about like Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata etc...basically I think if I am honest I prefer the JRPG style to the more western style because of the animation, the storylines, the ease of play and just to enjoyment value you get from completing them or even beating that ultimate boss (MAN that is a sweet feeling).
I don't like all games though and the main ones I hate is War based games like Call of Duty or Battlefield because I am one of those (I know I am not the only one) who feels its wrong of gaming companies to make War "Fun" and "Glamorous" to people, War is not something to enjoy in my books and I feel that alot of youngsters are joining the Army not because they wanna protect their loved ones but because they played COD a week before and thought it was so cool they had to try it out for real. Do not get me wrong though I am not going to preach to the choir and be all like "if you like war games you can go to hell for all I care", I respect that others do like those games and I will not be all like "you shouldn't play that" but if you ask me if I do I will categorically say NO absolutely not.
In my personal life theres not much to speak about really - I have alot of good friends who are my strength during alot of hard times in my life, I have a little "Half" sister who is just going to turn 4 years old this year (2014 if you are reading this in the future), My parents are divorced but that is a good thing because I will be honest I knew their marriage was never going to work even when I was younger (can you imagine being 10 years old and wishing your parents would get a divorce and be done...that how I was), I don't have a girlfriend although I have had 2 in the past but they didn't work out well for me at all, I live in my own place with one of my close friends and have so for the past 3 or 4 years (I am bad at time), I work at a local hospital (which is how I can afford to have so many expensive hobbies) and that about it really in my life.
Hopefully this blog has helped alot of people to get to know me better and hopefully it will help towards ridding me of some of my bad reputation that some of the members on Mobafire have about me but if not that is cool too, Hopefully some people will like to talk to me and get to know me more and I would love to get to know many more people here too.
Thank you for reading this blog, This is Mybloodisblack SIGNING OFF...

What a good reintroduction!:D Hope it all goes up from now on!:D
Anime's are awesome! but then again i tend to read the manga more:D but everyonce in a while anime is good too!
<-- is stupid and first language isn't english, what does a porter do in a hospital?:D
Do you have all 4 seasons over in england? What i mean is do you get snow in winter and whatnots:D
Anyways thanks for the reintroduction!
Nera
Yes we have all four seasons although this year we didnt get any snow :( Shame cos I love snow
A Hospital Porter basically takes patients around the hospital, delivers medication and specimens and just does the odd jobs that doctors and nurses don't want to do :3

I'm sorry the mobafire community bashed you earlier. It's easier to hate something/someone you don't know. As my ex-girlfriend always used to tell me, "Damnit mike - I'm trying to hate you, but i just can't stay mad at you!!"
I'm sure things will be improving from here :>
Now thats quite some form of re-introduction :3
What kind of work do you do for the hospital?
I am a Porter, not as glamorous as a doctor or nurse but still highly important :) And I am glad people are pleased with my introduction ^^
Now thats quite some form of re-introduction :3
What kind of work do you do for the hospital?
I am actually pretty good "human reader" myself - looks, voice tone, moves, habits, it's all very defining and intriguing to study. At times you can guess what the person is gonna say seconds before he's going to do that. Psychology and medical science is such interesting subject, sometimes I wonder if I chose the wrong educational line...
Anyways, I hope you're able to prove yourself to us and yourself.
Well, at least it is a big step in the right direction.
People are nicer sometimes because they dont feel as shy as when actually facing someone and others are a lot more rude for the same reason.
The Internet gives power to the individual, funny that was subject when I graduated haha, and well people behave differently when they feel strong. Another reason I shy away from people who can easily talk to me in real life... They surely feel in some sense better than me.
So yeah. You're really welcome and if you ever want to talk, i am a good listener.
Also: yay for easter coming up! Although koalas are way cuter than bunnies.
What kind of work do you do for the hospital?
I kind of feel bad for you you know?
I told you to ignore someone who is being mean without a reason. And i still think it is the best and easiest way to handle it. Listen to constructive critic and ignore it otherwise..
But we all do have those days when everything just goes wrong and then people add to that bad day by saying something that hurts you. No matter how right they are or you re overreacting.
I get really hurt by some people too. Although I want to ignore them it doesnt always work out.
I am pretty stubborn sometimes especially when I want to be angry with someone :D
I admire that you made the effort to clear this whole thing up again and introduce yourself and your story. :)
Thank you very much
I know I seem like I can't take criticism well but honestly I actually do however with me I just can't take it as others would want me to if the criticism starts off with a back handed remark that is not necessary - Like the amount of people who start it with "You are an idiot, You can't learn anything" that for me is an instant ignore their advice...Why should I listen and learn from anyone who already thinks I am not smart enough to learn anything in the first place?
Its like for example if you was sitting around the house and someone said "Why do you go out somewhere?" you probably went out because you took their advice but if they were like "Oh You Lazy **** go out" You must likely stayed in your chair because why would you bother to do what they said.
