The Tear recently got a nerf to how fast it can be charged hence you get the benefits of it much slower (about 5-10 minutes slower) which means that building a Rod of Ages means you get tanky"

Just prefer the overall gameplay of 3s. even if im in the jungle or just anywheres on the Twisted Treeline i just prefer the close quarters of it over 5s. Although i do go play 5s every once in a while if i have but usually only if i have more than 3 frie"
