"Just had a game with an Ashe mid that bought tear and went for a Varus-like build and just spammed volley every time. Didn't actually work that badly. But there is no reason to pick that over varus."

infinity edge costs 2000+ gold more than stinger? Of course it is a bigger counterspike, but it comes way later. A vayne which goes for the early stinger will totally harass a vayne with b. f. s"

"Because stinger has double the AS for the same prize?
It would set you a bit behind, but on ADC'S that 100% rely on attack speed it doesn't hurt anyway. Thats why vayne. It gives you a smaller but a lot earlier powerspike which you can abuse to win your lane."
