"It is better on tanks and better at killing tanks. So if you focus tanks and deal rapidly physical damage, mostly with your abilities, this is your item to go. urgot would be another example.

"So, he has used in the latest time Garen top with smite again, Nocturne top with smite and Volibear top with smite. :D
He mainly uses Garen top to crush Irelia's, Hecarim's and Teemo's, while Volibear top was used against a Shyvana."
