"Why would Specter be bad?
Only item in the game that gives him MR AND Armor (besides GA and Aegis) and although 12 armor isn't great, it's not bad for the second highest MR item in the game.
Also, why RoA? I don't think he's THAT mana hungry, is he? Especially with Blue Buff?

he should be almost at max range for the fight, so there should be no problem with gap closers (unless like flash + gap)
boots of lucidity would be good if you are planning on getting more MR then just Specter"

welp, couldn't find this anywhere, so I guess i'll start it.
Thoughts on Xerath?
He seems pretty strong tbh. His damage isn't the greatest, from what i've seen (at least among AP Carries)...
