Lichbane is core on Morde, and mainly for the auto attack effect, which is awesome sauce.
Guinsoo's is a nice item for TT Morde, being cheap and still giving you some nice AP and AD.
He doesn't synergize as well as he used to with resists, tbh. If you don't put out any damage, "
