"Yea, but his damage has always largely come from Q's passive. And they nerfed that slightly early game. The trade off is basically better slow and damage on E, and sacrificing that cool down time on Q, meaning newer players may still have to max Q if they miss it a lot."

"They nerfed E damage and gave the damage they took off it to his Q. they also slightly nerfed the passive damage early ranks.
People will still max E though, because you only need Q now for the CC."
