Okay, time for the first post guys!
First of all, let me say that I will not post any screenshots. Too lazy 'n stuff. :^)
game #1
Champion: Fiddlesticks
KDA: 7/8/9
Farm: not important
Role: support
I went to duo queue with a real life friend of mine, who wanted to go Renekton top. He was last pick, I was first pick. He really insisted on going top, so we appointed that I picked Renekton for him and he picked a champion that fit whatever role was left for me. Everything went right, we had a team that did not argue, everybody got his desired role, etc. Until the enemy's last ban.. Renekton :(. I decided to pick Jax for my premade, and he ended up picking Fiddlesticks support for me because he does not have many supports.
My partner was Jinx, the enemy botlane consisted of Annie and Ezreal. It was a fairly boring laning phase, with both lanes getting two kills by 15 minutes. I had 1/0/1, Jinx 1/2/1. Ezreal was 2/1/0, Annie 0/1/2. My end in top lane did a lot worse. He played some kind of his worst match in ages, and was 0/5 with Shen being 3/0/2. Shen was very adapt at using his ult, he came in at the right moment every single time. The only one on our team who did really well, was AP Sion mid. He was 10/4, and his shield almost instabursted Ezreal. The enemy team just kept pushing lane for lane, and we ended up losing after ~25 minutes. Only two on the team with a little good score: me and Sion.
game #2
Champion: Janna
KDA: 2/2/19
Farm: not important
Role: support
This game went a LOT better. It started off the other way round though. The flame already started in champion select, when the fourth pick called top and got mad when the second pick went top as Dr. Mundo. We had a Warwick jungle, who first got an argument with mid lane Kayle (which later on turned out to be fake as they were premades..). The fourth pick in the end decided to go AD carry, and picked Ashe. As our team already had two tanks, and I didn't trust his capability of playing AD carry, I decided to go Janna because I thought that way I could keep him off feeding with all my shields and peel. And that turned out to be a smart pick. Ashe went AFK the first three minutes, then came back into the lane with Teleport, and immediately decided to fight the enemy Thresh / Corki. I pinged her to go back and she understood, but she kept playing way too agressive all the while. I had to save her multiple times, and even had to buy mana potions because I found myself spamming my abilities so often. Ashe had not yet died though, and the enemy Corki was terribad at farming (as in, 10 mins 20 cs). At level 6 Warwick came, ulted Corki, Ashe ulted right in time, resulting in a free kill because Corki was cc-locked for like 4/5 seconds. From there on we somehow managed to snowball the lane. Mid and jungle constantly came to help us, and after getting Ashe a quadra kill (Statikk Shiv lighting OP duh) we took both the outer and inner turret. From there on the game was easy. All I had to do was rush the 40% cooldown reduction, my skills, and keep people from dying. Ashe, Kayle and Warwick all ended up with a good score and Dr. Mundo died 0 times. My final score was 2/2/19.
game #3
Champion: Katarina
KDA: 10/13/14
Farm: 236
Role: mid
Worst. Katarina. Game. Ever. Really, I did know what I was doing. The laning phase went really good, having 120 farm at 11 minutes in the game, with a 3/0 score whereas Xerath went 0/3. I had a DFG at my second back and could instagib anyone, but that is where it started to go wrong. I overestimated how far I was ahead and what I could do, and not just a little. Everytime I tried to jump on the enemy Tristana, Xerath or Zed, Thresh would immediately hook me out, or they would all turn to me. This happened over and over, but for some reason I was really stubborn and kept on trying. Meanwhile our Teemo had over 350 farm at 33 minutes, but he did not team up with us even once. He took an inhibitor and kept pushing top, only to die at their Nexus turret every single time. The enemy Tristana and Thresh were very good, and in the end carried their team to the win. Lesson learnt: don't overestimate your damage, and only go in when you are really 100% sure you can kill somebody. Not when they can all turn to you, or at only even 1% less. xD
game #4
Champion: Amumu
KDA: 2/9/22
Farm: 132
Role: jungle
One of the better matches I've played lately. The enemy team stole my blue, but I just took theirs and Jax found that out only five minutes later. Made me wonder if he had been AFK, farming his jungle way too slow, or whatever.. I powerfarmed my jungle, and as soon as the enemy Tryndamere did well started camping top. He did not get anymore kills, but he did not die either. By 20 minutes I had my core (Spectral Wraith, Sorcerer's Shoes, Sunfire Cape), and told my team that we could go teamfight. And that was a smart call. We had two good AoE ults in the form of me and Braum, we had two assassins to take down Vayne and Tryndamere in the form of Akali and Zed, and Cait just demolished everything with her insane farm. We won teamfights with like, 5 deaths on their side and just 1 or 2 on ours. I kept on building damage items, because I felt like we were doing really well. The last teamfight I decided almost single-handedly by ulting 5 people and taking down Jax and Vayne on my own. My team then came to help, and secured the other kills. We did Baron, and then finished the game.
That's it for now.
