30 defense is not a good idea. Bladed armor? Tough skin? even Vigor is kind of redundant on mundo.
I'd suggest 9/21/0 for mundo getting the magic pen in the offense tree. A bit of cdr and AD wouldn't hurt and you can improve your exhaust as well.

You can't have a point in weapon expertise without 4 points in the attack speed talent below it.
Also frozen mallet is really not worth buying until late game. The patter costs 800g and gives 2 ad and 45 hp. Yes the slow is nice...but you'll get trounced due to lack "
