"Long time morde player, and after trying it this build is definitely the superior way to play him. Nobody can 1v1 you with the basic item set up outlined and as long as you've got a good team you should be able to easily kill the enemy carry. This build deserves a higher rank imo."

"Morde is a very good anti-carry. If your tank is good at initiating you simply find the AD carry and kill them with your Ult and other spells. Building like Jebus illustrated is what makes him more viable like this. "

"I'm guessing he's stuck on that because Irelia is tagged as an assassin by riot in game.(and her nightblade skin probably has an effect too) You have to explain to him how she's different from other people tagged assassin. "
