Surely you jest. Jax is tanky due to his ultimate but he's definitely not a "tank" in the traditional sense of the word, since he's much more similar to a carry top laner like Tryndamere. "

"Your clear speed with Doran's Ring/Amplifying Tome is faster than your clear speed with machete for levels 1-2. You also deal more damage to champions.
Not really a justification for buying it, though; I'd personally still start Machete first unless you're doing that Piece of Sheet build"
