"You know what a better change would be? Make it so that instead of Summoner's Resolve giving +10 gold on smite, it makes you gain +10 gold per neutral monster slain. This buffs the jungler without giving laners more incentive to take jungle camps. "

If one sight ward allows you to farm an extra creep wave in safety or saves you from getting killed by a surprise gank/ill-advised facecheck, then it has paid for itself several times over....
