"What Lugi says is accurate. jax wins early trades against almost every champion because of counter strike.
But what you should do is go balls deep at level 1, starting with E. He has literally no way of stacking his passive that early, and you're able to deal a ton of damage WHILE keeping"

alistar is great as getting grabbed means you get a free initiate.
