"I agree that the 50% attack speed bonus is nice but I still don't think it is good enough to warrant taking it over athenes. If you do play him I think you will find that with how much he spams his abilities he is indeed a very mana hungry champion, especially early on."

"While Nashors tooth has some very good stats for Azir, I feel that athenes provides most of the same bonuses while also providing him with some much needed tankiness and mana regen. Also athenes actually provides a decent passive for Azir whereas Nashor's is wasted."
