I would say he's around about as viable as alistar is right now, maybe a little more with the right matchup. The only real issue is that he doesn't give any sustain to his adc. Id say that...

"Im just gonna chip in on the whole ghost and cleanse thing. The reason they are both seen as superior to ignite when used on Caitlyn is that they both provide survivability, either from chases or enemy cc. The issue with ignite however is that to use it you have to get considerably close"
