DPS Kennen: Has anyone else tried it or is it just me?

I used to play AP nuke Kennen. I found it didn't fit my playstyle at all. One day I got a guinsoo's and went "oooh I like this" but continued with normal AP and found myself still not quite liking...

Getting WotA is one thing (I almost always get it with morg), because the boost on her natural spell vamp is pretty ridiculous, but getting a hextexch would be pointless, other than using the active to slow people you're ulting or something.
