"I seriously recommend making lists of what you did right and what you did wrong after games. Look for patterns as you do this and work towards fixing things. Know where you should be vs. where you are and set reasonable goals for yourself to reach. This can be hard to do, but it helps a lot.

"I, personally, feel like the insertion of the master tier kind of drops gold into mid Elo, at best. I've met many a gold player with more misconceptions about the game than myself, but I've been playing the game for nearly five years so that might be a contributing factor here."
