Well.. i been for a long time tougth about Lich Bane and Trinity force.
and well i'm gonna give you some diffrent ways of useing both of them.
Lets start with looking at the stats of them
||Lich Bane||
+350 Mana +80 Ability Power
+30 Magic Resist +7% Movement Speed
UNIQUE Passive: After using an ability,your next basic attack gains bonus physical damage equal to your Ability Power (2 second cooldown).
||Trinity force||
+30 Attack Damage +30 Ability Power
+30% Attack Speed +15% Critical Strike Chance
+12% Movement Speed
+250 Health +250 Mana
UNIQUE Passive: Your basic attacks have a 25% chance to slow your target's Movement Speed by 35% for 2.5 seconds.
UNIQUE Passive: After using an ability, your next basic attack deals bonus physical damage equal to 150% of your base Attack Damage (2 second cooldown).
Now that we have that.. lets start with Lich bane.
Lich bane are a really really good item for ap chars that do use normal attacks for activating a ability and so on, some of thease are Nidalee, Sona, Teemo and Akali.
Now if we take a look at the stats agen the Movement speed boost is quite good for thease champions that do use it. But what i been thinking alot on and been trying my self is useing it on champions like Brand and malz.. thease are really good chars and The items can work quite well! But Playing Brand with Lich bane push is not a good idea, i recomend to just go normaly and when you get alot of money get it.. the extra boost is nice.. and the one little extra normal attack give you a extra 300-400 damage witch can make a diffrence.
Now if we take Sona for a example for this item, she have 3 aura abilitys that do diffrent things and a ulti ofcourse, if we think of it like this. a sona with just a sheen take ALOT of damage. she do her "W" Then her "E" Then BOOM her "Q" takeing quite some damage then throw her normal attack DOING Dubble damage, and then we put on 150% of your normal attack damage there. and when that item become litch bane boom you have 100% extra damage exual to your ap!
Okey now that we have taken some small looks on Lich bane Lets check out Trinity force.
This item are quite good for Hybrid chars.. But that do not mean they are not good for AD chars, i been fiddleing around Quite alot with the item Sheen and Trinity force with AD chars, and i have found alot of intressting and good ideas for thease items.
It's so that i have played ALOT of jungleing with WW and i where fiddleing around alittle with his mid and late game items, i found my self looking at sheen with WW and i bougth it, it did Work quite well i tock quite some damage when i just did "Q" and put a normal attack so my burst gor quite bigger, now there are alot of chars That Work great with Trinity force, such as Alistar, Akali, Blitzcrank, Corki, Ezreal, Gangplank(i don't really use it but some like it with him), Poppy and Shaco.
Now if we take and look at some chars and see some chars that can use both.
Lets Start With
||Akali||
Akali are quite the Hybrid she can even go completly Full Ap and do quite some damage.
or go hybrid and still pack a good punch, if we take and look on her. She have a passive that when you get +10AD you get around 8% Spell Vamp, and her other is +20 AP and you get +X% magic damage and this get larger on both fronts the more extra she get. Now i Find full AP Not really working ALL that great.. but it's still good. As for Akali Both Lich and Trinity force Works for her.. But.. You CAN'T go both.. they don't stack they did long time ago i think. But if we think about it. If you plan on going purely AP Then lich bane is your item, if your going hybrid, then Trinity force are your item.
Okey Second up and one of my best char i can play
||Poppy!!!!||
Poppy are a AWSOME char if i get to say so my self, But. people play her AP TO much, Sure AP poppy are not bad, but AD slightly hybridish are really really really good, a AP Poppy don't stand a chanse agenst a good AD/hybridish Poppy, as they have 1. Higher movement speed, 2. Better Chanses to gank and catch enemys of guard. 3. They Don't USE just there Abilitys to do damage. 4. They have Better Slow.
If we take and look at the diffrence with AP and AD poppy. AP poppy use mostly her abilitys harassing and takeing quite a punsh then run of. AD Poppy Do almost the same but they Have easyer to completly harrass and dennie there enemys with out dieing to easly. Now Trinity force. is a Amazingly good item for AD poppy as it give some ap Hp AD and AS all thease things she do need, As for lich bane. sure it's good for AP poppy, but i find it to much Carry. and Poppy are not a carry, Poppy are the awsome souse Tiny Blue Girl AWsome ness pownage, she just Rush in Slamming her Enemy into the wall and completly destroy them !.
