But yeah, kinda went into this expected to get creamed. I got creamed hard, they pulled lcs nonsense and I was playing a role i'm not comfortable in. Long story short, we perservered and out-teamfought the **** out of them. Best team NA
Also yeah spell vamp on Kennen everywhere is out of the meta, its just not that strong.
My Kennen mid build is Haunting Guise -> Zhonyas -> Abyssal -> Liandrys -> Rabadons -> Rylais or DFG (HUE)

Oh yeah people don't really build spell vamp on Kennen much anymore. It just isn't as strong as a bunch of other items and anything that puts off Zhonya's imo is a waste =P
I don't know why he built DFG, you'll have to ask him. I prefer Abyssal Scepter after Zhonya's for team utility.
It has been a bazillion years since I've played kennen and top isn't my lane anyway. Really the only roles I can play are mid and support. I can play a few casters top (vlad, swain, etc.) but that's it really.

SV? Spirit Visage? As far as I know DFG and Spirit Visage were never core items on Kennen...
