"I think the reason the team comp is set up the way it is (a nice balance of AD/AP, and tank/tanky dps/carry/mage/support) is because it's the most uncounterable team comp. Sure, you can counter individual champions, but there's not a champion that's made to tear through all 5 roles instantly.

"I'm going to start off with a madred's bloodrazor for attack speed and because I can start off with a cloth armor to jungle. Then I'll get a banshee's veil for survivability (and to hopefully solve any mana problems. I might just get a catalyst the protector early on), and then I'll work"

Unfortunately, the video was taken down. However, I can glean some information from the comments:
1. His ult has serious range.
2. He's NOT an AP champion.
3. Jungling with him works.

Gangplank, for example, isn't a very common pick. His skills don't synergize a whole lot with one another, to be honest.
