"I'm having trouble reading this guide. It says to get 7 items, and then later says that Infinity Edge is a core item despite not being on that list of 7 items. It also says that Guardian Angel is both situational AND in the main build. I simply don't understand."

"This build is excellent, and basically the only true support guide for Zilean people can look at as far as I can see. Good show. I've always liked the idea of getting a Rejuvenation Bead and a Faerie Charm to build quickly into a Philosopher's Stone. Zilean is my favorite support, so it'"

Yeah... That's pretty much true. Not gonna argue on that. Though, masteries and runes giving armor pen would certainly help out somewhat.

After Season 3, this is a much better item now. It went from a Kindlegem and Null-Magic Mantle to a Kindlegem and a Negatron Cloak, so it gives 30 more magic resist "

"This item has good potential for Ryze, like stated above, as well as anyone who uses a Rod of Ages as a core item, since it builds into a Catalyst early on.
Also, it can be a really good starting item for an aggressive Blitzcrank; his mana shield getting boosted by that much helps a lot."
