"I went 6W/4L in placements, and got placed in plat 1, despite ending last season in diamond 4.
It could be that jai's MMR was exceptionally high for her rank.
I haven't checked on her past games this season, but the order of her wins and losses during her placements matters as well. Going W/W/W/W/"

As a side note, it synergies quite well with champions that benefit greatly from on hit effects. This is why you see the item frequently built in kog'maw (runaans further contributes to the items...
