The two issues are that AP items are expensive, and cannot always be bought - Jungling is a very gold restricted role, so it'd probably be difficult to buy a needlessly large rod in one recall, unless you're incredibly far ahead... in which case"

"Meh, its usefulness has really gone off now that a lot of the ranged silences have been removed.
It's very appreciated in higher level play because if it's timed well, it allows for an opponent to get chain cced with little counter play from that opponent, or his teammates.

"Mundo doesn't really have CC like the other juggernauts though. gnar has an ulti displace + stun that can single handedly win a game. Heck, even darius has OK CC through apprehend; garen has a silence, which is still better than the CC mundo has."
