"Actually, I think I'd still take BT instead of Last Whisper, but it depends. If with Last Whisper I'm snowballing and already have enough damage, I'm fine to take Hydra. If I don't have enough damage, it's safer to take BT for a more immediate, noticeable change in damage output."
