I recently went though around a 15 game losing streak (totaled across 3 accounts!). Turned around and won my next 12 or so before dropping a game and then picked back up and started winning again with a W in the win column for my first ranked provisional for Season 5.
Here are some of my thoughts regarding things that can cause you to lose games and some potential solutions or simply points to consider.
AFKers
You can't do anything about AFKers. Don't sweat them. If you are still having a decent game play it out. If it is looking grim hit the surrender button. It is rather satisfying to win a 4v5 and your opponents will often reward you with Honorable Opponent points for your trouble.
Ragers
Ragers you might be able to do something about. Depends on the situation. Try to coax them back into the fold, but don't judge your game performance based on someone else's bad attitude.
Bad champ picks
Le Sigh.
Garen into
Teemo.
Vayne into
Caitlyn.
Cho'Gath support (questionable though I've seen in done well from time to time - he is potentially a really big meat shield and always brings a lot of CC....if he can hit with it).
Yeah, not much you can do about that other than camping the lane if you are jungler or asking your jungler to camp the lane.
You are going to go on losing streaks from time to time. It does not necessarily mean you are bad player. It is zee statistics. Think about it. If you have winning streaks you are going to have losing streaks too.
Makes notes from your match and pick the things that you do well and refine them.
Ask higher ranked players questions about what you perceive as your mistakes.
E.g. As support is your ADC dying every freakin' time you go to ward?
Ask about good times to ward and how to communicate to your carry that you are leaving them to their own devices for a bit.
The are a lot of nuances to League. Some of them you have control over and some of them you don't. Keep learning. Take breaks if you aren't having fun. And above all remember it is a game, with another chance at victory the next time you hit the Rift.
