So our
Jhin was winning lane against their
Wukong. To the point that he eventually even got their Inner Mid tower. Good work
Jhin! At that point there was really nothing safe for him to do in Mid. Our Top lane
Garen was getting their arse handed to him by their
Fiora. Bronze 1 vs a Plat 5. Not too surprising, especially when we learn that this was only the 2nd time they had played Garen. Which is fine. This was normals. I was only playing
Gragas (my try hard ranked champion of choice) because I thought my team needed some tank and some magic damage. Our Bot lane was struggling a bit, not really losing, but not winning either.
I had my finger in the **** that was Garen picking up two kills on
Fiora despite her fancy footwork in one instance to try and dodge me. I still had
Flash and she didn't so I was able to catch her and finish her off.
First I pinged
Jhin off being all the way up by their base tower with no wards. He backed off and then turned around and went back in and got caught and died given their team a shut down. Once he revived, he dithered around Mid lane for a while and so I told him to go Bot and help them out. He didn't go. He went back up Mid and by that time,
Fiora rotated Mid and Jhin died again.
So the moral of the story is, if you have a lead and don't have a safe* way to press it in your own lane, head to another lane and help them, or recruit your jungler to roam around the map with you to lend your current might in places where it can be used effectively.
*Jhin is like the definition of "Hi, I an immobile carry, please come kill me." Being somewhere that isn't warded is just stupid for him. Maybe Fizz or Singed gets away with that ****, but even they can benefit from knowing what might be coming to deal with them if only for them to have options as far as 'escape' (read as "ways to lead the other team on a merry chase so your team can get **** done elsewhere") paths.
