"I haven't tried it yet, but i've seen Shen do very well in solo top, rushing a revolver, and maxing Vorpal Blade first for last hitting and harassing. The items went something along the lines of:

"Siphoning Strike and Parrrley are effectively buffed auto attacks. The phoenix passive is it's own strange beast. 'tis why it's all confusing and such."

"Shen works well with pretty much anyone who can deal any kind of sustained damage. I'd personally say he's best as a solo top now. maybe a jungle, but i haven't tried his jungle, so i can't say for sure on that account."
