"For that I'd advise to watch pro streams. That way you get an idea of the meta champs.
Some basic good scaling champions are:
Top; Jax, Shyvana, Kayle
Jungle; Jarvan, Wukong (the latter isn't a good pick in this meta though)
Mid; Ziggs, Orianna, Anivia (but hard!), Kayle
ADC; Vayne, Tristana

Well you obviously fucked up your mmr because you only get +12 if you're at ~plat 1/2 mmr.
Just try to play consistently and not go on tilt. If you really deserve to be higher you'll climb over...
