Kayle is a good top lane champion imo, but she's very tricky when it comes to minion wave control because of her E (hard to freeze lanes properly). I wouldn't really recommend her to players...

"I would say the only challenges you should set for yourself are ones you have control over, such as cs @ 10 or 20 min and proper vision control around your lane if you're a solo laner (though I suppose it's a bit harder to measure what "proper" vision control is).
