"Xiao, that's because 2 divisions is only a few games of Elo difference. You can have someone in Gold II be lower MMR than someone in Gold IV depending on their w/l and games played."

Wrong...exact opposite. Low gains per win happen when you are nearing a tier series IF your MMR does not match what it should be yet for the promotion"
