"Mid is solo because it's hardest to gank, and 2v3 is better odds than 2v1
Top is usually solo because of dragon control bottom, 3 people doing dragon is faster than 2 doing dragon. That's the only reason for top being the solo lane, really - but it's a BIG one, that gold adds up."
