My 1st game of the official season 3. Somehow the last guy to call a role somehow doesn't have any characters for that role (or any he's good at 0.o). So I'm Sona, supporting a Gangplank. Our jungler wastes my slow spell and doesn't engage during a gank. Gangplank somehow loses to Ahri despite having 3x her health. 15 minutes in, my team is about 0/9/0 and I'm 0/0/0. People continue to dive in alone, left and right. Facepalm, forever.
I want to go back and play normal queue games, but no, I want to at least play people of my skill level! I must make it out of this elo hell! GAHHH!

@sirell - Yeah, I do know it's an option to dodge (I prefer not to), and I do know you can technically put any character anywhere depending on matchups and strategy. But it was pretty clear after a couple minutes that this guy didn't know how to do all those wonderful things you described. I did zoning the enemy laners on my own, but the GP probably wasn't confident enough to really take advantage, oh well.
And that a Gangplank is actually possible to go botlane, right? I took Bankplank botlane once as an anti-carry in draft pick and zoned the enemy laners easily, got more farm than the enemy and even picked up a few kills along the way.
Go duo queue.
If you can't carry your team by supporting, do not support. I main support, so I know what to expect.
tl;dr Elo hell doesn't exist, 1 game doesn't place you in your category, 200 games do.
