"Same reason Brand and Zilean do, once the enemy gets magic resist or enough hp his cooldowns are too high for him to be of much use."

"Wasn't a buff or a nerf to AD ez, was a nice buff to ap ez as he did trail off a bit too much lategame as an ap carry. And it's hard to imagine him getting more popular as he's already the most played champion :p"
