About This Team Comp

Duelists apparently were overperforming due to system change in 13.9 that ended up getting removed again. In combination with Kayle nerfs they are now much weaker again.

Your goal is to reach 8 Duelist (with Augment or Emblem) and play a Duo Carry setup with Vayne and Twisted Fate. In some cases you can stay Level 7 and roll for Nilah*3 and Vayne*3, but if you end up too contested or want to reach 8 Duelist faster it often makes sense to push for a fast Level 8 first and roll for your 3 stars later.

Duelist Emblem usually goes on Annie for Ox Force/Spellslinger, but you can also give it to Belveth to run an additional carry or Syndra in late game. You can run different variations with Kayle or Yasuo Carry Augment that are also viable, but they require a specific Hero Augments.

Stage 2

Open with 4 Duelist, preferably with Locket. With Upgrades and good items you can aim for winstreak, otherwise you should prepare for a large roll down in Stage 3.

Stage 3

Should be Level 6 in Stage 3-2 and roll for 6 Duelist and try to upgrade most of your board. Recover your economy afterwards. If Hero Augments who up you should take Vayne Carry Augment "Spread Shot".

Stage 4

With Duelist Heart you can stay on Level 7, otherwise you should aim for a fast Level 8 around Stage 4-5 so you can field 8 Duelist. From this position you can slow roll for Vayne*3 and Nilah*3. Duelist Emblem usually goes on Annie, but you can also give it to Belveth or Syndra in late game.

Stage 5+

Once you have Vayne*3 you can either finish Nilah*3 or push towards Level 9. Add Syndra and throw in Duelists or CC units like Fiddle/Urgot. Can move Duelist Emblem from Annie to Syndra to help her generate more mana.

Item Builds

Vayne wants to focus heavy on AD/Crit items, she doesn't require sustain if you have enough Lockets, since your fights are supposed to over fast anyway. Duelist Emblem is usually on Annie/Belveth/Syndra and in some casese even Fiddlesticks. Twisted Fate is your secondary carry with Shiv and leftover DPS/AP items.
