Aphelios Reroll Patch 14.8

About This Team Comp

Aphelios can still be a very strong reroll comp, but recent nerfs especially to Thresh make this comp more difficult to play. Usually in the start you want to rush for 5 Fated and connect Yasuo to Thresh, so your fated units receive Armor/MR and a shield.

You should be Level 7 in early Stage 4 and slow roll for Aphelios*3 and Thresh*3. It's extremely helpful to have a Fated Emblem at this point so you can reach 7 Fated and reach an additional power spike, so you don't lose too much HP until you find your 3 Stars.

Once you have your 3 Stars you can push towards Level 9 and add Ashe, Sett and Amumu/Lissandra to cap out your board. Aphelios has a 20% Sunder as part of his ability, so you can get away with skipping Last Whisper or Evenshroud in this comp. In late you usually connect Sett and Thresh for Omnivamp and defensive stats.

Currently there is a bug that causes the Omnivamp buff from Sett to apply to items. This means Thresh can heal himself from Sunfire/Ionic Proc and Aphelios from Red Buff burn. This is one of the reasons why these items and the connection to Sett are preferred.
