About This Team Comp
There are a few major mistakes players make when playing Graves. The first is that you should make sure you are proc'ing your Golden Ox as much as possible. A good general rule of thumb is that if you can roll/level and still be above 30+ gold after the round, you should proc it. The damage amp is very substantial.
The second major mistake is taking augments like "No Pivot No Scout" with Suspicious Trench Coat. Due to how the coat works, you will NOT get the additional stacking stats from the augment. Despite Trench Coat being one of Graves' best artifacts, there are some caveats you must be aware of. His itemization also changes with Trenchcoat, from HOJ/QSS/Sterak's to Coat/EoN/Sterak's.
The last major mistake is not prioritizing Aphelios items. Make sure to make a Guinsoo's at some point so that you have some form of reliable backline damage. Generally speaking, you want to find a secondary carry that can pump enough damage in case Graves doesn't find the right dash pattern. The comp works similarly to Rengar/Jinx.
Remember, Artifacts enable the composition immensely. All of his best Artifacts are listed below.
Graves Reroll

This is easily the strongest reroll line in the game but requires some positioning knowledge to succeed!

Recommended Augments

Early Game (Stages 1 to 3-1)

Save up your economy as much as you can! Typically, you can start to think about playing this comp if you have at least 1 Graves with a good slam. His items are ideally Quicksilver + Sterak's + one more item (like Hand of Justice or Bloodthirster). Grave LOVES artifacts, such as Suspicious Trench coat, Titanic Hydra, or Spectral Cutlass. Don't build Titan's! Edge of Night is only required if you have the Trench coat.
Stage 3

Make sure you're level 6, If you don't have a Graves 2* already, make sure to roll until Graves 2*. Ideally, you don't want to waste gold if it isn't being used for your Golden Ox procs. Make sure to try and proc Golden Ox (almost) every turn! A good rule of thumb is that if you can proc your Golden Ox without dipping below 30 gold, you should do it! If you find 4 Golden ox, make sure to play it. Otherwise, your typical level 6 board will look like something below. If you find yourself naturally a LOT of copies of Graves, consider leveling to 7 before you continue rolling to start gathering Jarvan's.
Mid to late Game (stage 4+)

Ideally, you should keep rolling on level 7 for Jarvan and 4 Golden Ox, but sometimes it might be better to level to 8 instead and find Jarvan then (or not at all!) You'll have to play this by ear. Generally speaking, Jarvan 3* is pretty important, and if you're unsure you can default to rolling on 7 every turn to keep proc'ing your Golden Ox stacks. Make sure you're rolling or leveling (almost) every turn to guarantee Golden Ox stacks! Aphelios ideally holds your burn and sunder with Last Whisper + Red Buff.
Greeding for Extra Resources

Sometimes you can play 6 Golden Ox during Stage 4 or 5 if you find the Viego with some HP to spare to cap out even higher. Just be careful, as you will likely lose some fights if you play 6 Golden Ox instead of the standard board.
Max Cap

Cap out with Garen for Golden Ox mods, Viego over Alistar, and drop Gragas for Zac.
Best Graves Artifacts
His best artifacts are listed below. The best starts from the left, and progressively gets worse as it goes towards the right. The build with Suspicious Trench coat specifically requires an Edge of Night.
