About This Team Comp

Updated for new patch!
-Divine mechanic has been reworked. I think it is greater power spike. CC removal part is amazing since this comp had a big struggle against Seju/Aatrox/Sharpshooters comps.
-Utility traits such is Adept and Mythic has been buffed as well which adds a little spice to this comp.
-I will mostly focus on explaining team comp with Chosen Duelist and Chosen Divine. Period.
-You can end up with plenty of variations of hybrid comps. Most units in these variations that i showed in last guide are core in most comps despite the Chosen trait.

**Check out my first guide for comp variations: https://www.mobafire.com/teamfight-tactics/team-comps/which-way-to-go-climbing-with-hybrid-comps-723 **

*The best Chosen Duelist choice:

1. Yasuo- He is strong throughout all levels and points in the game. He should be instant pick. Always try to grab star *3 Yasuo.
2. Jax- Core unit and his ability is just always strong. His damage when coupled with defensive items is just great. irreplaceable.
3. Lee Sin- It does happen but you really need to snowball hard to get to that point. Not something you want to fish for though.

*The best Chosen Divine:

1. Jax- Early game star *2 Jax with Duelist trait going on is force to be reckoned with.
2. Wukong- He is beast early game and will win you a rounds singlehandedly. When paired with another Vanguard he is just unstoppable.
3. Irelia- Core in all comps. Even though items focus should not be on her, i would instant grab her if she is Divine. Star *2 Irelia is always good. Adept Chosen is ok also especially since buff. Enlightened is just not good enough.

*Good early game Chosen units that most likely wont win you a game:

1. Duelist Fiora- If you want to go for this which is very tempting keep in mind that you must sell her later and gamble for new Chosen unit (unless you go for 6 Duelists but that's not the main focus in this guide though). Enlightened Fiora is no go for me.
2. Vanguard Wukong- Strong on it's own but generally 2/8 Vanguard does not win you a game. It is insanely strong early game though. Same case as Fiora, if you go for this make sure to star *2 Wukong on bench when you sell Chosen. Good luck with gambling.
3. Enlightened/Mythic Janna- Star *2 Janna is strong on her own that's a fact. It is great power spike. However in order to maximize both versions of Chosen traits you need to sacrifice some spots and change team comp. If you notice that people build 2-3 mage comps and doing well (like winning streaks) then you might want to consider 4 Mythic build.

*One exceptional Chosen option to consider:

*Adept Shen- Only consider Adept Shen and go for 4/4 Adept trait. I think it's well worth it since buff. Star *2 epic unit is always welcome. He is after all core in most comp variations.

**Spatula items and traits:
-I have to discuss a little about this without a doubt. For this team comp there are only 3 good options:
1.) Duelist's Zeal (Spatula + Recurve Bow)
2.) Sword of the Divine (Spatula + B.F. Sword)
3.) Vanguard's Cuirass (Spatula + Chain Vest)

-First two options are way more impactful than third and should be highly considered.
-On which units should you use one?

*If i get a chance to make Duelist's Zeal i will ALWAYS put it on Yone. Like in ideal team description i mention that he is little slow unit (by slow i meant he needs a bit time before he starts wrecking havoc on board. His mana gain is slow and ability has a little cast delay which can be interrupted by CC and he will end up do nothing.
*Developing Duelist trait on him can be without the doubt game winning move. Out of all units and traits, this one has the biggest impact of team comp dynamic.
*Using Sword of the Divine on him is not as impactful as Duelist's Zeal but should be also considered nevertheless.
*In Divine Chosen composition consider Sword of the Divine on Kalista.

-Second unit i would use Duelist's Zeal on is Irelia and thirdly Janna (only if she has Blue Buff and some spell power item).

*The best use of Sword of the Divine in this comp is without a doubt Yasuo. Period. Half of units are Divine already but those who aren't are Shen, Yone and Janna.

-The last item gives Vanguard trait. Because ideal comp has 8 units and only one Vanguard (Wukong) this one would fill that 2/8 Vanguard spot.
*If you have strong Janna with 2 items and play against Assassins and Shades, then consider putting Vanguard's Cuirass on her as third item.
*Other obvious option is Shen.
*On whoever you put it will do no wrong.

-Always try to use Spatula for first two options.

4 Divine & 4 duelists (Chosen duelist)

Couple of words about item choices. First of you wont build the same items every game because of RNG. Generally build what specific units need. For Yasuo as an example you can go with with IF and GA but preferably whole point of Yasuo is to enable him to dish out the most damage as possible. Hand of Justice works amazing on him because his ability applies on-hit effect. Which means it whatever of two HoJ options you get it will work. QSS is no brainer. Yone is little slow. Period. Preferably you want one mana item on him- Spear of Shojin or Blue Buff. For second item you can also go with Jeweled Gauntlet. Third item should be something defensive. I prefer Hextech Gunblade because his executes heal A LOT. In case he dies while having GA, he can revive, execute one target and go back to full HP and possibly land more killing blows. Hand of Justice on Irelia is nice touch since her ability also applies on-hit effect. Speaking of Janna, Blue Buff has been working well on her since PBE testing. Rabadon's Deathcap just adds raw numbers on shields she casts. Rapid Firecannon on Lee Sin is just another level of cheesiness. Why risk him get into stun and die when he can do all his work from afar?

This is general positioning. If you play against heavy assassins and shades you want to move Yasuo and Yone a little upfront to avoid aggro. In general i always pull my front line a little back in order for them to get involved in dealing with Ninjas, Assassins and Shades. If all my DPS units die then tanks wont have enough DPS to finish off mention zergers.

Early game level 3 ideal

Very simple. All 3 unites are strong. If you have Giant Belt put it on either Jax or Wukong because you won't need it for a carries. Don't use Chain Vest for Sunfire Cape because you might need a GA later.

Early game level 4 ideal

Use Garen if you don't have Thresh or if Garen is star *2. Thresh has the best base armor out of all Vanguards (80) and his ability is nice touch of utility for smooth early game rounds. He is just solid front liner.

Transition to mid game level 5-6

-If you have Chosen Duelist you want to enable 4/8 Duelist trait for first power spike. Whichever Duelist you get to fill that is great. If you have Janna on bench and ready to follow up with her at level 6 then use Fiora. It is highly possible you will get Fiora star*2 by this point. She will add 2/6 Enlightened. At this point in the game keep eyes open for Sejuani. She is strong and has greater influence on board than Thresh. This is instant replacement. If you have components for Blue Buff and Janna ready, develop her as fast as possible. Ideally replacing one Vanguard (Either Thresh or Sejuani).

Mid-late game level 7 and 8

-You want to keep your 4 Duelists going but slowly develop first touch of Mythic and Adept utility to strenghten overall team quality and head towards ideal comp. We are backing off from one Vanguard in order to create space for core units. Even though at level 8 we have 4 Duelists and 4 Divine running, some units are just not good enough to win you a game. Namely Fiora. Her stun is always useful but that alone wont win you a game. Not only that but 3/6 Enlightened does nothing. You want to replace her with Lee Sin. He will fill both 4/8 Duelists and Divine. That's why i avoid picking Chosen Fiora like i mention in description. She is great early-mid game but not potent enough to land you a first place unlike Lee Sin (kicking star *4 Aphelios off the board always triggers comment or two in chat). Lux is just a filler pretty much. You can also use Warwick but i think her stun is great when she does not miss it (thank you Captain Obvious). Not only you're at risk missing a stun but she is also SLOW TO CAST. Needs a lot of time. Great when it hits multiple targets though. In either place of Fiora or Lux comes Yone into play. Both champs are temporary solution. If you go for level 9 i would without doubt put Sejuani into play for 2/8 Vanguard trait fill and of course AOE stun. Always keep her on bench.

4 divine & 4 duelist (divine chosen)

This is ideal comp if you get Chosen Divine. Kalista is added as potential carry and to fill 4/8 Duelist. Defensive item on her should be QSS or GA. I think Runaan's Hurricane is too good on her. Another option to consider is Guinsoo's Rageblade. Hextech Gunblade is little gimmick but it does heal her when she executes target, however in term of DPS output Giant Slayer is stronger. There is no Vanguard trait involved in this composition. Just one note about Chosen Wukong- If you grab Divine Wukong then you need to push for level 9 to add Lee Sin for 4/8 Duelists. Consider also Spatula and Duelist's Zeal possibility, make compromise.
